Our vision is to transform people’s lives through the power of music. We play a lead role in making Scotland a place where ground-breaking new music featuring skilled musicians and composers with disabilities comes alive for everyone. We reshape the definition of musicians, musical instruments and ensembles, building momentum as the country’s centre of expertise in inclusive music technologies and as an innovator on the international stage.
Keeping disabled people playing music during the Covid-19 lockdown – August 2020 Update
Although we are currently unable to provide face-to-face sessions due to Scottish Government guidance, we are continuing our Musicspace @Home online provision with:
- one to one sessions using video conferencing enabling disabled musicians to keep making music in their homes
- group sessions which help disabled people cope with the isolation and loneliness of lockdown
