Last week we had Matthew Breaden from Sydney spend a week with us here at Drake Music Scotland. During his stay he joined us at the SAME Conference, spent time in our MusicSPACE sessions, with our Liveheart band and visited our Figurenotes Clubs at Moffat Early Years Campus too.

“Spending a week observing Drake Music Scotland’s activities was a real eye-opener to the range of musical possibilities for people with special needs and disabilities.
I was especially impressed with the really creative use of advanced music technologies and instruments to enable music-making by people for whom traditional instruments are a barrier.
The combination of expert musicians, creative ideas, and well-resourced assistive technology is allowing so many more people to develop their musicality – bravo!”
