Lewis is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and music teacher.  He was awarded an MMus in Composition with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh in 2011.  Since then he worked extensively as a music session leader for children and young adults with additional support needs before completing a PGDE Secondary (Music).  Lewis enjoys exploring innovative and adaptive music technology and musical instrument design, and

as a composer, he often draws on elements of Scottish traditional music.  As a Drake Associate Musician, Lewis has facilitated performances as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad, and the St. Magnus Festival in Orkney.
