Digital Orchestra: North East - Wednesday evenings 3.30pm-5pm based in Stonehaven. Digital Orchestra: Edinburgh - Thursday evenings 3.30pm-5.30pm in Craigmillar, Edinburgh. Are you one of our new Centre Coordinators?

We are recruiting for 2 new Centre Coordinators to work with us and join our teams at our Digital Orchestra: Youth programmes in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire and Craigmillar, Edinburgh.

Digital Orchestra: Youth creates and nurture new musical communities of disabled young people to explore their musical potential, learn digital instruments, form new friendships and achieve musical and personal goals and takes place 30+ weeks per year during school term time funding permitting.

Digital Orchestra: Youth currently takes place in 4 locations across Scotland:

  • Digital Orchestra: North East in Stonehaven – Out of School sessions taking place at Mackie Academy, Stonehaven – Wednesday evenings 3.30pm-5pm (approx.)

  • Digital Orchestra: Central in Dundee – Sessions taking place at Kingspark School, Dundee – Thursday evenings 3.30pm-6pm (approx.)

  • Digital Orchestra: Edinburgh in Edinburgh – Sessions taking place at Castlebrae Community High School, Edinburgh – Thursday evenings 3.30pm-5.30pm (approx.)

  • Digital Orchestra: West in Glasgow – Sessions launching out of school Easter 2025

(Please note that we are only recruiting for Coordinators in Edinburgh and Aberdeenshire, and not for Glasgow or Dundee – Applications for either Glasgow or Dundee will not be passed through for shortlisting)

We are looking for organised locally based individuals who can be the first port of call for Digital Orchestra: Youth in their centre, and work alongside our DMS Associate Musicians. The Coordinators should be confident in keeping records and registers of attendance, regular communicate updates to management at DMS, field enquiries from parents and young people, take photos and videos during sessions to share with the rest of the DMS team.
