Junior Digital Orchestra

The Junior Digital Orchestra is a new project which gives young people aged 12-16 with disabilities access to high quality music tuition and play and perform together in an orchestra.

Rehearsing every Friday afternoon in our studio in Craigmillar, the musicians are learning how to play a range of inclusive technologies.  Our video shows Greta using Eyegaze (users control software with their eye movements) to play music and Ethan plays the Roland Digital Drum kit.  We have developed a special board which gives Ethan access to the drum bass pedal.

We are very grateful to BBC Children in Need who is supporting this project.
