Come along to The Queen’s Hall on Saturday 5 May 2018 for a fabulous evening of live music celebrating 20 years of Drake Music Scotland and our world-leading work bringing disabled musicians centre stage.
Our birthday concert will showcase a host of talented disabled musicians including the world’s first disabled youth orchestra, the Digital Orchestra. Since launching in 2016, our Digital Orchestra has gained an international reputation and is fresh from wowing audiences at the True Colours Festival in Singapore.
To mark this special occasion, our Digital Orchestra will give the world premiere of Skein in collaboration with internationally acclaimed folk musician and composer Aidan O’Rourke of Lau. This new commission was made possible with the support of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and City of Edinburgh Council Culture Fund.
