Drake Music Scotland and composer Clare Johnston have joined forces with Eegeru Ensemble of Kazakhstan in a ground-breaking collaboration. Clare Johnston has created a new work – Call of the Mountains – for a combination of traditional Kazakh, acoustic and digital instruments. Eegeru are unique in their commitment to combining a contemporary classical sound with ancient shamanic traditional instruments such as the Kul-Kobyz which will feature in the concert, along with work by Drake Music Scotland’s renowned Digital Orchestra.
