Cumnock Tryst Partnership

Drake Music Scotland is delighted to announce we will again be working with Sir James MacMillan and the 2016 Cumnock Tryst Festival.

After our 2015 acclaimed debut working with Hebrides Ensemble and Hillside and Barshare Primary Schools, The Bell Tree will find us collaborating with the Festival’s artists-in-residence, Headspace and inspirational musician Clarence Adoo, composer-facilitator-performer Matilda Brown, story teller Marion Kenny, adults from the Riverside Centre and young musicians from Cumnock Academy.

“Join us at Cumnock Academy for an astonishing performance. John Kenny’s Headspace is back, featuring Clarence Adoo on a new instrument, Hi-Note, specially made for him since his paralysis in a car crash. Chris Wheeler provides sound projection.”
