Drake Music Scotland is delighted to announce the appointment of musicians Clare Johnston and Amy Moar as our first Developing Potential Trainees. Over the next year, Clare and Amy will receive training on how to use the full range of inclusive music technologies and Figurenotes, undertake placements in projects with mentoring from our Associate Musicians. We also expect that we will be learning a lot from Clare and Amy in return about working with disabled people as music leaders.
Developing Potential is a new Drake Music Scotland initiative supported by Creative Scotland Youth Music Initiative aimed at increasing the number of musicians with disabilities leading inclusive music projects in Scotland.
