Microscopic Dances

Join us for the world premiere of Microscopic Dances by Oliver Searle performed by the talented young musicians of NYOS Futures and Drake Music Scotland’s Digital Orchestra.

Following the success of our collaboration in 2014 (Same River Twice), we are delighted to be working with NYOS again, this time with acclaimed composer Oliver Searle who was nominated for a British Composer Award for our commission (Technophonia) which was chosen to be part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

Since launching in 2016, the world’s first digital orchestra for disabled young musicians, the Digital Orchestra, has gained an international reputation and has been invited to perform at the International Society of Music Education conference, RI World Congress and the Asia Pacifica Festival for Disabled Artistes in Singapore.  NYOS Futures is one of world’s leading contemporary and cutting edge ensembles for young musician.

This much anticipated performance will bring these exciting musicians together for the first time and make this a Fringe Festival performance not to be missed!
