Our Sound Explorers programme is now well under way with projects beginning in ten schools in five local authorities across Scotland – Dundee, Falkirk, Glasgow, Highland and South Lanarkshire. Each school project is being led by a newly recruited Sound Explorers Associate Musician, an experienced musician/music teacher trained in our range of inclusive music tools and methods which remove barriers to music making for young people with additional support needs.
Sound Explorers will provide high quality music education for young people in Special Schools, particularly targeting those whose learning was the most severely disrupted by the Covid-19 schools closure over the past year.
