We’re delighted to be back at The Cumnock Tryst Festival this year with an exciting new collaboration with National Youth Orchestras for Scotland and composer/pianist Malcolm Edmonstone.
Developing on from our ‘Same River Twice‘ partnership which wowed audiences in Edinburgh and Stirling in 2014, ‘Same River Thrice‘ will bring together 18 talented young musicians who will rehearse with Malcolm towards a Festival performance on Saturday 6 October 2018, 2pm at Boswell Centre Auchinleck, KA18 2LA
The Cumnock Tryst has established a very fruitful relationship with Drake Music Scotland over the last few years, where we have highlighted moving, creative work by young people at Hillside and Barshare and adults at the Riverside Centre. This year we welcome their incredible Digital Orchestra, collaborating with some gifted young players from NYOS.
