All 8 students of our 2018/19 Music Technology Course ‘Pathways’ have passed with flying colours.
Pathways is aimed at school leavers with learning and communication disabilities such as autism who have the ability to gain SCQF level 5 and 6 qualifications in Music Technology but struggle with some aspects of the full time and “full on” College environment. Taking place in Drake Music Scotland’s fully equipped and accessible studio, the small group sizes give young people more one-to-one support and space to complete the units.
Pathways is the only music tech course specifically for disabled young people in Scotland and run in partnership with Edinburgh College’s Faculty of Creative Industries and funded by National Lottery Community Fund’s Young Start Fund.
